Eco-Dyed: Our fabric is dyed using 7x less water and eco-friendly dye
Clean Cotton: We comb out 2.5x more impurities than standard ring spun cotton
This product is manufactured in the U.S. and internationally in a no-sweat-shop, humane, sustainable way since day one and the production warehouses are W.R.A.P. certified
Sustainability
We use the latest direct-to-garment (DTG) printing technology. The DTG ink in this process is different from the ink screen printers use as its water based instead of plastisol (man-made Plastic).
In DTG digital printing a special kind of printer is used to apply water-based ink directly to the fabric of your product using inkjet technology. The fibers of the garment absorb this water-based ink to create your amazing Ninetees Baby products which then feel soft as the images are absorbed into the fabrics.
We use Kornit DTG Printers which produce almost Zero Wastewater and use less power lowering our overall Carbon emissions.
Every purchase, big or small, has a footprint. With each purchase, you have a choice. You choose the size of the mark to leave on the planet, and we want to help you choose wisely. Around 85% of all textiles produced by the fashion industry end up in landfills, making it a major contributor to environmental damage. One in every five garmentsreaches a landfill without being worn even once. By choosing print-on-demand, you choose apparel that's created only as the order is placed, creating less fabric waste than conventional manufacturing.
Around 81% of Ninetees Baby orders are delivered in the same region they’re fulfilled. Having fulfillment centers close to our customers is good both for the business and the planet. This way we also reduce our emissions with global delivery
As of May 2021, we’ve started using packaging made of post-consumer recycled plastics for all apparel orders. Now we’re increasing the recycled content and gradually switching to 90%–100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic packaging for our clothing products shipped to our customers all over North America.
As an alternative to virgin plastic bags (or, plastic bags created without any recycled materials), PCR packaging protects products just as well and looks almost identical. Plus, choosing PCR packaging is the right thing to do. When you produce items using recycled materials it saves virgin resources and requires less energy, minimizing the environmental impact plastic has on our planet. Yay Us!
Caring For Your Products
In order for you to prolong the life of your fabulous Ninetees Baby products we suggest following the care instructions below:
Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors. Use non-chlorine bleach, only when necessary. No fabric softeners. Tumble dry low, or hang-dry for longest life. Cool iron inside-out if necessary. Do not iron decoration. Do not dry clean.
Be wary of washing and drying on a high setting, especially when the garment is 100% cotton. High-temperature washes can fade and crack the print, and a high-temperature dryer settings can shrink the garment, as well as damage the print.
Our Tshirts, Singlets and Onesies can be washed at any temperature setting without affecting quality. But we recommend washing with like colours, as the polyester fabric may make colors run. High temperatures during washing and drying may shrink the fabric.
We'd always recommend looking at the care instructions on your items to keep them looking great for longer.
